Our mission at Come & Stay is to simplify connections between hosts and travelers within the ICOC community. We stand for connectivity, generosity, trust and love.

We seek to fulfill this mission by creating and maintaining a secure online tool making travel more accessible, coordination seamless and goodness shared between members of the ICOC community. We are committed to cultivating a deeper love and respect within the ICOC by engaging and educating the community on travel etiquette and cultural courtesies

Chief Marketing Officer

We are looking for an experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to oversee all marketing operations of our purpose-driven startup whose mission is to connect disciples with disciples. This is a completely remote role on a committed volunteer based-role with opportunities. The CMO will be responsible for developing the marketing strategy of the organization, while building a team of enthusiastic marketing professionals to execute on the marketing plan. The goal is to ensure the company’s marketing efforts are successful.

Chief Marketing Officer

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define and develop feasible marketing strategies to support company objectives and oversee implementation, while being hands-on in creation and execution

  • Liaise with other departments to guide a unified approach to customer service, distribution etc. that meets market demands

  • 'Listen' to the trends of the market and direct the market research efforts of the company

  • Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press, etc.)

  • Build a highly efficient team of marketing professionals and educate them to understand, both, the policy and voice of the company

  • Develop business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion, etc.)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Marketing Strategist or similar role as a Marketing professional.

  • Bachelors in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or relevant field; Masters is a plus.

  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal).

  • A leader with both creative and analytical capabilities.

  • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods.

  • Experience with traditional and digital marketing techniques (SEO, PPC, Social Media, Ads, etc).

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design is a plus.

  • Possess a heart for travel and hospitality!

Social Media Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic social media guru to oversee our social media presence and manage our online communities. The ideal candidate will have experience leading social media for a recognized brand and, will be awesome at supporting successful social media campaigns, will have great story telling capabilities, and will enjoy creating community engagement online. Social Media Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  • Function as primary administrator for Come & Stay social media channels

  • Oversee content calendar for publishing two - four weeks in advance

  • Curate content for Instagram page

  • Set up and help manage Come & Stay closed groups on FB

  • Facilitate live sessions and set up event announcements on FB

  • Publish posts for special promotions and campaigns where appropriate

  • Respond to inquiries received via social media channels and engage with followers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior social media for business experience

  • Great communicator and willingness to learn how to use the Come & Stay brand voice effectively

  • Experience using Facebook for Business, Instagram for Business and Twitter

  • Experience using Hootsuite

  • Ability to review analytics and offer constructive input related to our marketing strategies

Video Editor

We are looking for a talented video editor to assemble recorded footage into finished videos. The ideal candidate should have the ability to capture the audience through their lens and deliver a specific, cohesive story or message which furthers the Come & Stay vision of deeper connections through travel and hospitality. If you have the experience and you have the desire to use your talent to expand love within the church and beyond, apply below.  

Video Editor

Main Responsibilities:

  • Edit video projects according to each provided specification to include reviewing raw material, trimming footage, and creating a logical, compelling sequence

  • Sourcing and inputting music, graphics, and effects as appropriate

  • Creating a rough cut and final cut according to recommendations

  • Develop an overall video brand messaging strategy

  • Propose and implement new ideas for our creative direction

  • Manage and oversee our YouTube channel

  • Work closely with the content team for marketing videos and the web development team for 'how to' videos

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some experience with editing software (e.g. Avid, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, iMovie)

  • Demonstrable video editing ability: knowledge of timing, continuity, and flow

  • Understanding of the importance of video in social media engagement

  • Creativity and storytelling skills

  • Pro-active; takes initiative when making decisions

  • Organized, focused, and excited by the idea of helping a unique ministry
